Services

IronGate Pool Inspections provides pool safety inspections and pool safety certificates for Queensland properties.

A Pool Safety Certificate will only be issued where the pool barrier complies with the applicable pool safety requirements.

If the pool is not compliant at the time of inspection, IronGate will provide clear notes outlining items that require attention. Where required, a Form 26 non-conformity notice may be issued in accordance with Queensland pool safety requirements.

Bookings and access

The client is responsible for providing accurate booking details and ensuring reasonable access to the property, pool area, gates, barriers and any relevant areas required for the inspection.

Access arrangements will be made clear when the booking is arranged and confirmed by phone before the visit.

IronGate does not charge a separate call-out fee or no-access fee. The price you pay for the agreed inspection service is the price you pay.

Payment

For Pool Safety Inspection & Certificate bookings, payment is required upfront.

Invoice and billing arrangements may be agreed directly in writing with an agency, property manager or authorised representative.

GST is not charged. IronGate Pool Inspections is not currently registered for GST.

Certificates

A Pool Safety Certificate is not guaranteed before an inspection has been completed. A certificate can only be issued where the pool is assessed as compliant.

Reinspections

Unlimited reinspections are included for the same inspection matter, provided they are reasonable, related to the original inspection and completed within the relevant compliance timeframe.

Reinspections do not include unrelated new inspection matters, major changes to the pool barrier, or separate inspection requests outside the original compliance process.

Repairs

IronGate Pool Inspections does not carry out general building, fencing, gate, structural, plumbing or electrical repairs.

IronGate may supply or install CPR signs where agreed and appropriate. For all other repairs, clients should arrange a suitably qualified tradesperson or contractor.

Inspection limits

The inspection is limited to pool safety compliance matters. It is not a building inspection, pest inspection, structural inspection, plumbing inspection, electrical inspection or general property condition report.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

IronGate Pool Inspections may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on the website applies at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
