If you are an agency, property manager or authorised representative, we may also collect details relating to your agency, portfolio, client contact, property access and billing arrangements.

We may collect information when you submit a website form, contact us by phone or email, book an inspection, provide property access details, communicate with us about a property, or receive an inspection report.

We may also collect information during an inspection, including photos, notes and pool barrier findings.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange bookings, complete pool safety inspections, prepare reports, issue certificates where applicable, manage reinspections, communicate with owners, authorised agents or property managers, manage billing and provide customer support.

BarrierCheck

IronGate uses its own digital inspection software, BarrierCheck, to record findings, photos and notes during inspections. BarrierCheck helps us prepare clear inspection records and reports showing what is compliant, what needs attention and the next steps toward certification.

Disclosure of information

We may disclose information where reasonably required to provide our services. This may include disclosure to the property owner, authorised agent, property manager, relevant contractor, government authority, local council, QBCC or another party where required or permitted by law.

We may also use service providers such as website hosting, email, booking, payment, cloud storage or business administration tools.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Access and correction

You may contact IronGate Pool Inspections to request access to your personal information or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete.

Overseas disclosure

We do not intentionally disclose personal information overseas. However, some service providers used for website, email, payment, cloud storage or business administration may store or process information using servers outside Australia.
